Right. Because Kayne was a blood thirsty psychopath.[break]
"Why? What is the point?" The red-haired demon growled through clenched teeth, really doing his best not to just smack Ehris in the face right now. "Morpeth is his territory. Why were you even there in the first place? To try and rescue some humans from Kanagara? You know how well that worked out last time."[break]
"I wasn't going to Kanagara." Of course, he had that damn emotionless expression plastered to his face like he always did. He was pretty sure the guy had zero emotion unless his brother was insulting his missing horn. Talk about priorities... Well, at least he didn't have that stupid piece of cloth puled over his face this time. What was even the point of wearing that anyway? Was he paranoid about contracting the Plague or something? He did know that demons were immune, right?[break]
Rhiyan took his hand from his hip and inhaled deeply. "Then why? Why do you keep antagonising your brother?" [break]
"I'm not-"[break]
Rhiyan cut the younger demon off by roughly grabbing his horn and pulling him close. "Do. Not. Engage. Him. Do you understand? Or you can bet your ass that I won't be helping you take on your psychopathic sibling so long as you keep pushing him like that." He growled at him. His eyes were dead serious, and he obviously wasn't just scolding the kid. "I've lived long enough to see the rise and fall of humanity countless times. Hundreds of wars between mankind." He pulled the other demon closer still. "This is exactly how they've destroyed their race. I hope you're not going to make the same stupid mistake, Ehris."

With a yawn and a scratch to his head he had made his way back to his leader's layer, come to people watch more. Of course he had hardly been expecting an entire show when he arrived. It seemed the older demon was scolding Ehris, who had come to visit them for some reason. Maybe Rhiyan had summoned him. Ehris seemed to be constantly getting into it with that other one... What was his name... Oh right, Kayne.

Zeek honestly couldn't understand it well. Why bother so much with fighting. They could just relax a little and go with the flow. But he supposed neither of them seemed to really be that type. As Rhiyan's little scolding fest seemed to be calming down some, Eezeki'el stepped forward with another yawn and he stretched his arms over his head. "What did you do this time Ehris?" The blonde demon questioned curiously. After all, it wasn't like this was the first time Ehris had been here getting scolded. Rhiyan was like a cowboy trying to wrangle in his unruly bulls.

[attr="class","textie"]So busy with glaring holes into Ehris was Rhiyan, that he didn't even notice a certain blonde demon enter the scene. It wasn't until Eezeki'el spoke, that the red-haired demon clicked his tongue in annoyance and roughly shoved the younger away from him. [break]
"Oh, good. Someone who knows how to leave people the hell alone. Learn from him, Ehris. It would do you some good." [break]
Naturally, Ehris didn't even listen to what he was saying, instead turning to face Zeek and gently holding his horn as if it would fall off at any moment now. Right. Why would anyone listen to the old man? Honestly, he should be used to this by now, but it still worked to piss him off every single time. [break]
"I didn't do anything wrong." [break]
Rhiyan snorted at the blue-eyed demon's words, and crossed his arms over his chest. "Yes. Ehris did nothing wrong. Aside from provoking his murderous sibling who's out for blood. His blood in particular."[break]
Ehris glanced behind him briefly, as if he were silently ordering a young child to butt out of an adult's conversation. "Yes, that's right. Just ignore me. Just because I have centuries more experience that you do, that mean absolutely jack shit, doesn't it?"[break] [break]
